Look what I can do!

Jake and I were playing in the playroom and he decided to go into the living room... I didn't hear him for a few minutes so I went to check... This was how I found him. He loves her sooo much!

Jake's Big Boy Room

Jake moved out of the nursery on January 1st... it was going to be a slow process so that he would adjust well to being in a 'big boy bed'. However, one night he decided on his own that he wanted to sleep in his new room instead of the crib. The transition went GREAT!

His room is officially finished... We hope he likes the Phillies as much as we do!

February SNOW...

We got 21 inches of snow on February 6 and we are expected to get anywhere from 12-24 inches again tonight (2/9/2010). The dogs LOVED the snow and Jake enjoyed it as well! Ryan hasn't experienced the snow yet and we aren't sure if she will either... no need to get anyone sick!

Ryan 2 & 3 months

We are definitely not as good with posting new pictures with our second as we were with our first... Do not tell Ryan this when she is older! She will be so mad at us!

She's getting bigger by the day... although we are having a hard time gaining weight with the terrible acid reflux that she has. She is now on medication and it has made it much better. But we still spit up very often and are working on figuring everything out.

Jungle Wonder

There is a fun arcade/playland near us called Jungle Wonder and we recently took Jake and Ryan there. Jake really had a blast. There was a moon bounce for just kids under 24 months and then a large jungle gym/sliding area. Jake conviced his Pop-Pop to climb through the jungle gym with him. We had such a good time! We will definitely be going back especially now that it's too cold to go outside.

Jay's new job

Jay recently accepted a new position with Ernst and Young in Philadelphia. It's been an adjustment but he is enjoying it so far. He will be doing some traveling which he probably isn't too happy about but in the end it's going to be really good for his career. He was in Boston for 2 days and Chicago for 2 days last week. We were really excited to see him when he got home. Jake kept screaming 'Dadda Dadda' He even said 'Daddy' at one point.

Jake and Ryan

Things are a little crazy around the house. We are definitely adjusting to two. When someone tells you that 2 is harder than 1, BELIEVE THEM! Maybe it's just because they are so close in age but it's hard. A good hard though. We are enjoying our little girl and Jake is too!
