Phillies Win the World Series!!!
Jay and I are season ticket holders for the Phillies, therefore we were able to go to several Playoff games (by we, I mean Jay and a friend of his choice). My only request was that I was able to go to the World Series Game. We had Game 5 of the World Series and we were both nervous that the Phils would end it in 4 and we wouldn't be able to see a game. Fortunately, we were able to go to a game and WHAT A GAME it was!
We were troopers and stayed the whole time on Monday and went back for more on Wednesday and BOY, WAS IT WERTH IT!!!
Jay was born in 1980 when they won the Series and Jake was born in 2008 when they won the Series... I guess we better get working on another baby huh???

Jake and Aiden
Jake and his friend, Aiden Robbins, cheered on the Phils on Saturday Oct. 25th. Unfortunately they were both asleep before the game even started because of it being delayed but I think that they are both the Phils lucky charms.
Jake also turned 4 months old on Oct. 25th.
Can you believe it?? It has gone by so quickly... he is getting SO big.
Trip to Pittsburgh
We traveled out to Pittsburgh to visit with Jay's friends from college. It was a nice trip and Jake did surprisingly well for a 5 hour car ride. Unfortunately we don't have any pictures because we forgot the camera.
Jake did get to meet Elizabeth, who is Josh and Sue's daughter. She is just adorable. We are looking forward to them meeting again when they both actually realize what is going on in the world. Haha.

Jake's Baptism
Jake Watkins Musselman was baptized on Sunday October 5th at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. He did GREAT. A little bit of tears because he thought he was going to be dropped when they held his head over the water. But other than that, he was great. His godparents are his Aunt Beth and Uncle Steve. He had so many family members and friends of the family in attendance. Jake is a very lucky boy to have so many people that love him. Thank you for all your support!
Jake missed Mimi, Pops and Uncle Justin. For those of you who don't know, Jay's youngest brother Justin had a pretty bad accident at college a few nights before. He was taken to the hospital and remained in intensive care for a few days. He's on the road to recovery and should be back home within the week. Please keep him in your prayers.
More Play Time!

Jake's First Phillies Game - Sept 28, 2008
We took Jake to his first Phillies game on Sunday Sept. 28th. It was great, unfortunately none of the starters played since the Phils won the night before. Jake got a certificate that said it was his first Phillies game and he built his own 'Phanatic' which is named Ben (the girl in front of us named hers 'Philly' so we couldn't pick that!) We had a great day and Jake seems to really enjoy the Phils... just like Mommy and Daddy!
Jake's Attitude
3-months old
Jake is now 3 months and 1 week old. Boy, time has flew by. He survived his vaccines just fine although he is not looking forward to his 4-month check-up and his next round of vaccines. Or maybe Mommy is just not looking forward to them.
Jake was tongue-tied when he was born which is when the frenulum under the tongue is too tight and you are not able to move your tongue around as easily as someone else. So he had a visit with an Ear Nose and Throat specialist who snipped the frenulum and now all he does is stick his tongue out at us. I am sure I will regret it later on! All in all, he is doing great from that traumatic week of doctors causing him pain. But he is a better nurser now that he can move his tongue and can follow us when we stick our tongues out at him.
The Browns??
We are awful!
